City of superlatives — tallest buildings, biggest malls, golden deserts and luxury beyond imagination
Dubai is a city that has reinvented itself in a single generation — from a desert trading post to a global megacity. It's a place of superlatives: the world's tallest building (Burj Khalifa), largest shopping mall (Dubai Mall), biggest artificial island (Palm Jumeirah), and the world's most luxurious hotel (Burj Al Arab). Yet beyond the glitter, Dubai also has Old Spice Souks in Deira, the Dubai Creek dhow rides, and Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood that reveal its fascinating heritage. A city unlike any other on earth.
November to March is perfect — mild temperatures (20–28°C), outdoor activities, and the Dubai Shopping Festival. April and October are shoulder months. May to September is extremely hot (40°C+) but indoor activities, malls, and desert evenings are still enjoyable. Hotel rates drop significantly in summer.
